Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed PRN Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary for daily living, work, and meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities related to activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, cognition, sensation, and motor skills

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence, safety, and quality of life

Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home safety
-
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR/L)

Current state Occupational Therapist license in good standing

CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced or variable environment
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a relevant clinical setting (e.g., inpatient rehab, outpatient, SNF, home health, pediatrics)

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, or holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility

Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and use of hands required
