Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed PRN Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis. This role supports patient rehabilitation through evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, function, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals

• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility

• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant treatment environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)

• Current state Physical Therapist license in good standing

• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)

• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a clinical setting relevant to the position (e.g., outpatient, inpatient, home health, SNF)

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

• Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, or holidays as needed

Schedule & Employment Type

• PRN / As-needed

• Hours vary based on staffing and patient census

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed

• Prolonged standing, walking, and manual dexterity required

Work Environment

• Clinical setting may include outpatient clinic, hospital, rehabilitation facility, or patient homes (depending on role)
